If you're looking for entertainment, Islay is your girl. She has an absolute obsession with toys, particularly anything that makes a satisfying squeak. Watch her eyes light up at the sound, and prepare for endless play sessions. Her toy collection is impressive, and she approaches each squeaky treasure with the same enthusiasm every single time. Although we do need to retrieve her collection from her various outside troves on a regular basis.
Don't be surprised if Islay announces your arrival before you've even made it to the door! This enthusiastic girl has appointed herself as our official greeter along with Ardie, and she takes the job very seriously. Whether it's a familiar face or a new visitor - human or canine - Islay will let everyone know with her impressively loud and spirited welcome. Her greetings are all heart, delivered at full volume with the kind of genuine excitement that reminds you why coming home is always special. Fair warning though - subtlety isn't in her vocabulary when it comes to hellos!

Her tail-set and top-line are textbook examples of breed standards, and watching her move is pure poetry in motion.
Her natural ability in the show ring became evident early on. At just 7 months old, Islay captured Best of Breed at the prestigious 2019 National Dog Show in Blenheim - a remarkable achievement for such a young dog and a testament to her exceptional quality.
